Panthers On Hunt For Title After Beating Stallions

Updated: Jun 8

Bryce Perkins and Mike Nolan are the USFL Conference Champions

The Michigan Panthers are the United Football Leagues (UFL) 2025 USLF Conference Champions.

The Panthers were able to put together a strong performance and topple the Birmingham Stallions 44-29. While the points never did much shifting, the theme of this matchup was all about momentum. Luckily for HC Mike Nolan and the Panthers that momentum always found its way back on their side. No matter what Birmingham threw at them, Michigan had an answer, from extending plays off of failed tackles to answering back with their own points after a turnover.

Bryce Perkins Stats

While everyone on the Panthers team did what they needed to do to get the win, QB Bryce Perkins had another outstanding performance. He finished the game with 20 completions on 25 attempts, 238 passing yards, and a score. The touchdown came when Perkins completed a short pass to Malik Turner who could not be brought down and took it 76 yards to the endzone.

RB Toa Taua had the other impressive performance mention. The run game didn’t necessarily dominate at any point but it did show up when it needed to. Taua ,only having 86 yards off 21 touches, was able to find the endzone 3 different times. One score coming from 3 yards out, another from 6, and his final from 4 yards. His performance didn’t need to be off the back of record breaking stats, just consistent and able to get points when they were able to. And that’s exactly what the Panthers Running Back did.

The Panthers are set to take on the winner of the XFL Conference between the DC Defenders(6-4) and the St. Louis Battlehawks (8-2). The UFL Championship game will be played on June 14th, 2025, at The Dome at Americas Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
