CORY’S PREDICTION
Moneyline - Michigan Panthers 32-28
Over/Under (50.5) - UNDER HITS
Cory’s Take - The week 6 rematch is here and I’m expecting a similar outcome for the final game of the season. Michigan may be the most well rounded team in the league. On top of that, there are too many threats on this offense for the Defenders to ignore. While DC has shown they are a force, Michigan has a special ability to be more aggressive and consistent. They can play harder while running up the score on you.
KEY MATCHUP

The Defenders defense will have their hands full with the league MVP and Offensive Player of the Year in Bryce Perkins. They’re going to need to try and contain Perkins’ elusiveness if they want any shot of being successful. Unfortunately for DC they’re not just tracking the quarterback, they need to minimize a consistent, hard to bring down running back in Toa Taua as well. Containing that duo may be a little harder to do than everyone thinks.

HEATHER’S PREDICTION
Moneyline - DC Defenders 27-21
Over/Under (50.5) - OVER HITS
Heather’s Take - The Defenders have a chance to get the best revenge, a regular season do over, hopefully, with a different outcome. The thing that DC has going for them is Ta’amus’ ability to create splash plays when they need them most and the team's comeback potential. The ability to get themselves back in competitive games means DC isn’t “out of the game” until it’s completely over. I think if they get out to a good start and can be balanced on offense they won’t have any issues bringing home some hardware.
KEY MATCHUP

Kai Nacua has been a monster in the backfield and been a menace to opposing quarterbacks. He might not have a turnover in every game but when Nacua does create one he really makes it count. Aside from that Ta’amu has the vision to really be precise and careful when finding his receivers. That’s what’s going to make a difference in this championship game, being smart with the football.
